I think beepers are important because my parents in case of an emergence may in know were they can call me and I can call back at any time.I donot know why people are gainst them beause beepers don’t always mean drugs. They are in style in 90's and to avoid class interuption, students can simply set their pager on vibraating mode.With beerpers,pager can reaaaaaaaccch their child and childres can csll back right away, in case of emergency.Beerpers may distract students in their school work. Students whologet beeper during class will be distracted fron learning in school. Beeeper can make you have problems with the teacher,therefore, Student need to make sume they keep the beeeeper hidden in their backparck and never leave the sound on.
